We have a position for an enthusiastic person looking to start a 12 month Traineeship in Timber Truss and Frame Design and Manufacture.
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to expand their current skillset and get exposure to sectors of the timber trade. All while working towards and completing your apprenticeship. Opportunity to enter into a Cert III in Carpentry / Cabinet Making Apprenticeship at the end of the Traineeship.
The role is to work in a team environment in a very busy workshop constructing Timber trusses and frames.

To be the successful applicant for this position you will need to be passionate about working with timber and take pride in your work, you will also need to be a team player who understands the importance of teamwork but also have the ability to work individually and show initiative, be prepared to work hard and go the extra mile. Previous site experience is not necessary but looked upon favourably. You will be required to travel to various sites and locations within the metro area.

- Minimum of year 10 schooling
- Experience working with wood (preferred)
- Drivers licence & reliable vehicle
- CI Card (White Card) (or be willing to obtain prior to starting)
- Domestic building experience / exposure to a jobsite
- Willing to start early
